Shuckers Get One-Run Win at Lancaster
|
Biloxi right fielder Seb Blanch made his presence felt in the 6-5 Shuckers triumph over the Lancaster Farmers. Blanch was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. António Moreno earned the save for Biloxi, his 23rd of the year. With the win, Biloxi goes to 39-47, while the Farmers fall to 32-54.
In the top of the eighth, Biloxi second baseman Modesto Barreiro had a productive at-bat. With a runner on 2nd and one out, Barreiro stroked a run-scoring single to left-center. It made the score 6-2, Biloxi. For the game, he was 1-4 with a walk.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Blanch told the Biloxi Daily News.
