Thunder Hawks Walk Off with 10-8 Win
The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks topped the Irving Blue Sox, 10-8, with first baseman Philip Visscher playing a big role. Visscher went 3-4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 4 runs and drove in 3 for the Thunder Hawks in the win. The win was Kelvin Fontijn's in relief. His record improves to 10-4. Víctor Rodríguez took the loss for Irving. Ft. Polk South currently is in third place in the Silver AA at 41-34.

Ft. Polk South won the game in the bottom of the 11th inning. With one out and Víctor Rodríguez on the mound for Irving, shortstop Roberts Hamhock hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Thunder Hawks fans to their feet.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Hamhock.
