Losing Streak Continues for Continentals with 6-2 Loss to Thunder Hawks

Benefiting from an exceptional performance from Philip Visscher, the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks defeated the Chesapeake Continentals, 6-2. Visscher was 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Thunder Hawks. The last-place Continentals have lost 8 consecutive games.
Visscher came through with some timely hitting for Ft. Polk South. With the score 2-2 in the bottom of the fourth and two down, Visscher hit a 1-0 fastball for a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season made it 5-2, Ft. Polk South.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Chesapeake manager Ismael González.
