Farmers Clip Shuckers in Tight Contest
A nice crowd turned out to see the Lancaster Farmers and Biloxi Shuckers clash at The Pizza Oven.

The Farmers grabbed a win, 7-1, at The Pizza Oven, overcoming a fine effort from Biloxi pitcher Eugenio Pensotti. Pensotti went 7 innings and allowed 1 earned run. At 24-40, the Farmers find themselves in last place in the Silver AA.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 2nd and no one out in the top of the eighth inning. That's when third baseman Alfonso Pacheco hit a single. The Farmers went on to win.

"It feels good to get this one," Pacheco told the Lancaster Citizen.
