The New Orleans Voodoo had to overcome a big game from Portland left fielder John Schaefer to leave The Voodoo Lounge with a 11-6 victory. Schaefer went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Ted Chong earned the win to go to 3-2. He allowed 3 earned runs on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts.
