Oliva Lifts Rawhides to 7-1 Triumph
The Belvedere Park Rawhides topped the Irving Blue Sox by the score of 7-1, with the biggest share of the credit going to designated hitter Richello Oliva. Oliva went 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 3 times and drove in 4 for the Rawhides on the day. Belvedere Park starter Timoteo Sassetti was credited with the win after throwing 90 pitches over 8.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1.
