Benefiting from Brian Carr's productive game, the Belvedere Park Rawhides downed the Chesapeake Continentals, 5-4. Carr went 2-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Rawhides. Edmond McCord earned the save for Belvedere Park, his 3rd. The Rawhides, now 6-2, have been playing some good baseball.

Belvedere Park took a 5-4 lead on Ken Gill's 9th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Gill hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Chesapeake pitcher Jeff Dunn visibly frustrated.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Belvedere Park manager Seth Rice.
