Navarrete Helps Hops Beat Blue Sox
It was a good time at Hops Park, where fans came to watch the Irving Blue Sox and Yakima Hops get after it.

Vonne Navarrete made an impact in the 11-7 Yakima win over Irving. Navarrete went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. James McNeil finished the game for Yakima and earned his 3rd save.

Early in the game, first baseman Gang Jing had a 2-run double for Yakima. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Hops on top, 3-2.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Jing said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The win gives the Hops a record of 4-3.
