The San Antonio BC began the 2036 season with a convincing 7-5 win over the Ithaca Fighting Imps at San Antonio Field. Most impressive was San Antonio shortstop Lou Downes, who was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Jordan Calhoun was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 4 strikeouts. The save was credited to José Lucero, his 1st.
George Towns helped out the San Antonio cause in the bottom of the fourth inning with a run-scoring single. For the game, the catcher went 1 for 3 with a walk, while scoring 2 times.
