The Houston BC and Pennsauken Flyers obliged those fans who came to Houston Park hoping for an exciting game.

The Houston BC beat the Pennsauken Flyers, 6-5, at Houston Park. Houston second baseman Ramón Robles earned player of the game honors with an outstanding performance. He went 4-4 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Houston reliever Júlio Rodríguez was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Sook Sung-Man took the loss. Gustavo López, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 28th save.

The BC got a big at-bat from left fielder Jesús Hernández. For the game, Hernández was 2 for 5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fourth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Houston a 4-2 lead.

"I like to keep things lively in the clubhouse," said Hernández. "Believe me, it's much easier after a win."
