It was a fun time at The Bamboo Forest, where the Tortolita Drummers and Sioux Falls Red Pandas tangled.
Enrique Rocha led Sioux Falls to a win over Tortolita. The final score was 6-1. Rocha scored 2 times, while going 2 for 4. The right fielder also totaled 4 runs batted in. The winner was Sioux Falls reliever Morgan Beckwith, now 3-2. The loser was Addie Samson.
Rocha contributed a big hit, a 2-run single, for Sioux Falls in the bottom of the sixth. With his team trailing 1-0, Rocha took a fastball from Burm Snart and stroked the single to center. His 2nd hit of the season allowed the Red Pandas to leap in front, 2-1.
Rocha told a Sioux Falls Today reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
Sioux Falls occupies second place in the Menard's AAA at 48-35.
