Drummers Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Buzz
A 4-RBI performance from the 25-year old center fielder Harlan Thompson helped the Tortolita Drummers beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 6-4. Tortolita reliever Jerry Magee picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Emil Olsson shouldered the loss. Tortolita's record now stands at 40-32, placing them third in the Menard's AAA.

Had Thompson not come through in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have changed. Instead, with two down, Thompson hit a 3-run home run. The Drummers never looked back after taking the 6-4 lead.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Thompson.
