Mariano Saelices batted in 7 runs to lead Syracuse to a win over Sacramento. The final score was 15-11. Saelices chipped in with 2 singles and 2 home runs. Syracuse reliever William Fothergill picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Julius Spry was saddled with the loss. Brian Peeks closed it out for his 1st save.

Syracuse took a 8-7 lead on Tyler Knopp's 4th hit of the season. The run-scoring single, which Knopp hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Sacramento pitcher Julius Spry shaking his head.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Saelices told the Syracuse Observer.

The Starks now have a record of 35-36 with the win over Sacramento.
