The Boston Patriots topped the Buckhead Bowties by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to first baseman Tyler Bowen. Bowen was 2-2 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Patriots on the day. Boston has now won 4 games in a row.
Boston used the timely hitting of Yu-shu Kang to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth inning to put the Patriots on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
