|
Houston rode a fine outing from starter Bobby Roode to victory over the Tortolita Drummers at Houston Park. The final score was 3-2. Houston has now won 3 in a row.
Rodolphe Nairn had a big run-scoring single for the BC in the bottom of the third inning. With Houston leading 2-0 and a runner on 2nd, he got a cutter from Roy Alsobrook and stroked the single to left. It was his 16th hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the BC ahead, 3-0.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Roode said.
