The Battery had to overcome a fine effort from New Orleans pitcher Grover Lowdermilk to grab a narrow 4-3 win at Charleston Armory. Lowdermilk went 6 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Miguel Angel Martínez picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-3. Matt Martin was tagged with the loss. At 19-12, the Battery are currently second in the Premier League.

Bartolo Morales took Matt Martin deep in the bottom of the 11th. His solo home run put the Battery on top, 4-3. In all, Morales had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
