Coral Reefers Topple Coyotes with Late Rally
Hamilton pitcher Pete Rhue gave the Coral Reefers all they could handle, but in the end, Key West left Coyote Wildlife Refuge with a 2-0 win. Rhue allowed no earned runs on 4 hits over 8 innings. Larcena Pennington recorded his 3rd save for Key West. The 6th-place Coral Reefers are now 12-12, the Coyotes 14-10.

Key West used the clutch hitting of Lorenzo Rosas to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Coral Reefers ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Rosas told the Key West Observer. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
