Tortolita played host to Houston at the friendly confines of Drummers Ballpark.
The Tortolita Drummers topped the Houston BC, 4-1, in M3L Triple A action at Drummers Ballpark. The player of the game was Tortolita pitcher and Matsanga, Congo native Kabeya Kasongo. Ricardo Ruíz closed the door for Tortolita, picking up his 5th save of the year.
In the bottom of the third, Fernando Rincón hit a solo home run for Tortolita. The 1st home run of the season for the Tortolita shortstop put the Drummers on top, 2-1.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Rincón said after the game.
Tortolita has a record of 8-11.
