Redlegs Walk Off with Win
|
The inspired effort of Houston first baseman Tomás Muinos was not enough to prevent a 4-3 loss to the Sacramento Redlegs. Muinos went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs. The loss drops Houston to 1-2.
Sacramento won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Ken Peterson on the mound for Houston, second baseman Dallas McMurran hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Redlegs fans to their feet.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," McMurran said.
