Lakers Pick Up 3-1 Win
|
The Lakers had to overcome a fine effort from Seattle pitcher John A. Mais to grab a narrow 3-1 win at Boeing Dome. Mais went 9 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. The 10th-place Lakers improved to 14-21.
In the top of the first, Silverberry Mouhon pounced on a curveball from John A. Mais and hit a 2-run single. It gave Echo Park a quick 2-0 lead.
"We put together a nice win," Mouhon said.
