The Kingston Township Knights got a magnificent performance from pitcher Currito Fonseca, who muffled the Buffalo offense en route to a tight 3-1 Knights win at Cloverdale Legion Park. Fonseca, now 1-4, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 6, walking 5, and allowing 1 earned run. The White Walkers fall to 9-12 and continue their lackluster start to the 2036 season.
António González made an early impact for Kingston Township when he stroked his 4th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with one out in the bottom of the third, put the Knights on top, 2-0.
"Currito did a tremendous job," said Kingston Township manager Rayzor Ray.
