Shredders Get Close Win Over Dodgers
|
A 4-RBI performance from the 25-year old left fielder Larry McLambroch helped the Hollywood Shredders beat the Brooklyn Dodgers, 7-4. The win was Robert Smalls's in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Shinzo Kumagai took the loss for Brooklyn. Hollywood has a record of 2-0.
McLambroch had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-1 fastball from Shinzo Kumagai, he banged a 3-run home run to center, giving the Shredders a 7-4 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for McLambroch.
"I felt good up there," said McLambroch. "I saw the ball well."
