White Walkers Clip Hotspur, 4-3
|
The Phoenix Hotspur inaugurated their 2036 season with a tough 4-3 loss to the Buffalo White Walkers at Chase Field. Starting Pitcher Damien Hayward was named player of the game for Buffalo. Hayward picked up the win for Buffalo, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 8 hits. He now sports a record of 1-0. Woodward Haberdash nailed down his 1st save.
Buffalo relied on the hitting of Robby Young to pick up the win. The right fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the White Walkers on top, 2-0. For the game, Young had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
