Gibtown Starter Selected Best Pitcher Saturday, September 1st, 2035 Over the past month Vadim Rajnev has turned quite a few heads. He's young, talented and able to pitch with the established arms in the M3L Rookie. He proved all that and now he's been named August's Pitcher of the Month. The rookie for the Gibtown Elephants posted 4-0 mark and a 1.69 ERA. In 5 starts he tossed 37.1 innings, permitted 28 hits and fanned 42 batters. To date this season Rajnev sports a 11-3 mark with a 2.22 ERA in 19 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .237 batting average and has 160 strikeouts in 138 innings. |
