Redwood Loses Ashpenaz for Year Saturday, July 14th, 2035 The season is apparently over for Meshach Ashpenaz. The Redwood Rhinos medical staff informed the club that the third baseman will be out at least 4-5 months with a torn calf muscle. Ashpenaz was hurt in the game against Greenport while running the bases. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. This year Ashpenaz has hit at a .287 clip with 18 RBIs, 6 home runs and 33 runs scored. |
