Flurgenburgen Wins SR Player of the Week Monday, August 27th, 2035 Jurgen Flurgenburgen is respected by most Germantown Uruguayans fans for his no-frills style of play. The 18-year-old second baseman went about his business with vigor last week to grab the USSL Rookie Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .565 average (13-for-23) with no home runs, 4 RBIs and 8 runs scored. In 87 games this season Flurgenburgen has compiled a .356 batting average with 129 hits and 15 home runs. He has also scored 76 times and knocked in 62 runs. |
