Braz Hits in 20 Straight Games
Saturday, August 25th, 2035
The Moose Jaw Canucks may have proven to be mere mortals today as they lost 5-3 to the Ladue Rams, but Jeffrey Braz continued to hit like a god.
The second baseman collected 2 hits in 5 at-bats in the loss and extended his hitting streak to 20 games.
"Braz is playing great and is on fire right now," Canucks manager Wynn Burton said. "Hopefully his play can spark the rest of our team and help us pick up some wins."
Braz was apparently not happy with the game and when pressed by reporters in the locker room only said "nothing else matters but the loss." Jeffrey Braz flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
Braz is hitting .267 so far this season with 32 RBIs and 33 runs scored. He has 92 hits including 3 home runs, 9 walks and .292 OBP.
