Cox Rips Amarillo for 5 Hits Sunday, August 19th, 2035 Revolvers center fielder Sean Cox had his way with Amarillo pitching today at Terriers Ballpark and mauled them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His efforts were all in vain, though, as the Submarinos ruined his great day by toppling the Revolvers, 7-4. "I had a great day, but you've got to give Amarillo credit, they did what they had to do to win," he told reporters after the game. "They weren't very impressed with my 5 hits." "Oh, we noticed what Cox did today," Submarinos skipper Theodore Johnston said. "He had quite a game. I can tell you this, we will pitch him a little differently the next time we face him." Sean Cox singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Cox is hitting .302 so far this season with 27 RBIs and 50 runs scored.
