Llacer Twirls Shutout Sunday, June 10th, 2035 Domingo Llacer of the Valley View Cougars toyed with the Crowley Cajuns today, blanking them 8-0 at Hillandale Grounds. He was almost untouchable, baffling them on a 5-hit shutout with 8 strikeouts and 1 walk. "I'm sweating now because it's hot in here," Llacer said in the clubhouse after the game. "But it didn't even feel like I was sweating out there." This year Llacer has earned no saves, worked 43.2 innings, fanned 43 hitters and recorded a 2.68 ERA. He has also put up a 6-0 won-lost mark.
