Mercer Island Devastated by Playoff Elimination Thursday, September 20th, 2035 It will be a long offseason for the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles organization. The team came close, but have ultimately failed to make this year's playoffs. "Making the playoffs has to be our ultimate goal," said manager Omer van Osch. "We'll use the offseason to see what changes can get us there." This is the club's 2nd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2033. In the last 10 seasons, the Screaming Eagles have only missed the playoffs once. In total, the Screaming Eagles have missed the playoffs 6 times in their 20-year history. Mercer Island has won the PL AA Championship 6 times in their history. |
