Ottawa's Clemmet to Miss Season Monday, September 3rd, 2035 The season is ending on a bad note for Richard Clemmet, shortstop for the Ottawa Nationals. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Clemmet was hurt against the Durham Rapiers while running the bases. He suffered a fractured ankle and will be out for at least 4-5 months. This year Clemmet has collected a .242 batting average to date with 59 hits in 244 at-bats, 30 RBIs, 2 home runs and scored 25 times. He has played in 74 games. |
