Drenth Nabs 3AA Weekly Award Monday, August 20th, 2035 So far in his young career, Victor Drenth has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 24-year-old Virginia Beach Deuces first baseman hit at a torrid .556 clip as he collected 10 hits in 18 at-bats, 1 home run, 5 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Drenth is swinging at a .271 pace on the year with 12 home runs, 44 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has played in 63 games. |
