Williams Wins 3AA Best Player Award Monday, July 2nd, 2035 So far in his young career, Steve Williams has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the M3L Double A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Yakima Hops center fielder hit at a torrid .700 clip as he collected 7 hits in 10 at-bats, 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 6 runs scored. This year Williams has hit at a .444 clip with 10 RBIs, 3 home runs and 12 runs scored. |
