Murphy Hits in 20 Straight Games Monday, August 20th, 2035 Travis Murphy extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Athletic Club KC 4-2 triumph over the Port Royal Disaster. The 24-year-old Reserves shortstop collected 2 hits in 3 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then."
