SAAA Pitcher of the Month Goes to Njie Wednesday, August 1st, 2035 "The kid had it all working last month," a veteran teammate told reporters. "He keeps up those kind of numbers, we might have to start inviting him out with us after the games." Chenor Njie put together a very solid month to take home the USSL Triple A's top pitching honor in July. The 24-year-old reliever threw like a veteran. In 13 relief appearances he raked in 7 saves and 9 strikeouts in 15.1 innings as he put together his 3-2 record and 1.76 ERA. This season Njie has logged 12 saves. He has thrown 34.2 innings, dished out 24 strikeouts and walked 10 while putting up a 3-6 mark and a 3.63 ERA. |
