Schaefer Named 2035 PAAA Outstanding Hitter Award Winner Sunday, October 7th, 2035 2035 was a special season for Bloomington right fielder John Schaefer and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the USPL Triple A Outstanding Hitter Award. Schaefer compiled a .298 batting average and a .410 on-base percentage this year. In 79 games he piled up 78 hits, 12 doubles, no triples, 33 home runs, 70 RBIs and 65 runs scored. Richello Mabait of the Bloomington Longnecks finished second in voting, while Juan Reyes of the Bakersfield Nobles finished third. |
