Ayushiev Hits in 20 Straight Games Saturday, July 21st, 2035 Moriz Ayushiev extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the Bloomington 13-7 triumph over the Memphis Redbirds. The 25-year-old Longnecks shortstop collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Moriz Ayushiev singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
