Chrzan Slaps 5 Hits Monday, July 30th, 2035 It was a sensational day at the plate for Dan Chrzan as he led the charge to a 8-6 win over the Drummers. The Sacramento first baseman was pure misery for the Tortolita pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting. "Chrzan put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Arturo Chávez, manager for the Drummers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball." Dan Chrzan struck out in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Jerry Magee in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 10th.
