3AAA Names Top Player of the Week Monday, July 16th, 2035 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the M3L Triple A, but last week Max Bortenschlager of the Gryfindor Braves reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Bortenschlager rocked opposing pitching for a .448 average (13-for-29), no home runs and 6 RBIs to come away with the award. This season Bortenschlager is swinging the bat at a .384 rate with 56 hits in 146 at-bats. To date he has hit 2 home runs, scored 20 runs and driven in 19. |
