Best 3L Reliever Named
Tuesday, October 30th, 2035
Joe Khokar was a calming influence out of the Panama City Piranhas bullpen this season.
His teammates and manager said he had a poised demeanor about him that was typical of someone much older and more experienced. His poise has paid off, as the 25-year-old turned in a sparkling season and has been named the winner of the Menard's Third League Reliever of the Year Award for 2035.
The Eastchester, New York native won the award with 25 saves in 64 relief appearances, 125 strikeouts in 103 innings and a record of 5-3 to go with his 2.88 ERA.
Cliff Claven of the Brooklyn Dodgers finished second in voting, while José Barquero of the Quebec City Les Bleus finished third.
