Panama City's Balduis to Miss Season Friday, August 31st, 2035 The news is bad in Panama City. The Piranhas have lost the services of starting pitcher Freddie Balduis for the rest of the season due to a partially torn labrum. Balduis was injured in a recent game with the Wizarding Express while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 4-5 months. So far this year Balduis has made 11 starts, tossed 57.2 innings, struck out 53 batters and walked 40. His record is 1-4 with a 8.27 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .291 batting average. |
