Nashville No Match for Bystrom Wednesday, September 5th, 2035 The Toledo Stingers did little to support starter Danny Bystrom against the Nashville Outlaws, but it turned out he didn't need the help. The right-hander spun a complete game shutout against the Outlaws, striking out 4 and surrendering 3 hits. The performance from Bystrom allowed Toledo to escape with the 1-0 win despite an anemic offense. "Nobody came to me and said 'Danny, we're gonna need you to win this one for us today,' but I could feel it," Bystrom told BNN reporters following the win. "I'm the guy that will step up for you when you need it." So far this year Bystrom has made 8 starts, tossed 58.1 innings, struck out 42 batters and walked 29.
