Season Ends for Abel Murphy of Washington Thursday, June 21st, 2035 The season is ending on a bad note for Abel Murphy, third baseman for the Washington Generals. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Murphy was hurt against the Galesburg Guzzlers while throwing the ball. He suffered a torn labrum and will be out for at least 5 months. Murphy is hitting .288 this year with no home runs and 13 RBIs. He also has an OBP of .407, 26 walks and scored 18 times. |
