Brooks Nabs PA Outstanding Hitter Award Sunday, September 23rd, 2035 Rob Brooks of the Valley Blue Sox had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Outstanding Hitter Award for 2035. The 22-year-old center fielder put up a .337 average and a .423 on-base percentage, piling up 97 hits, 12 doubles, 2 triples, 20 home runs, 59 RBIs and 50 runs scored. Mark Patterson of the South Beach Blaze finished second in voting, while Arend van der Veen of the Mancelona Torch finished third. |
