Player of the Week Honor to Valley Pitcher Monday, September 3rd, 2035 Youth was served last week as 21-year-old Ignacio Uribe put together a remarkable stretch on the mound, outpacing all other USPL Single A pitchers and hitters to win Player of the Week honors. The Valley Blue Sox hurler rang up 17 strikeouts in 11.1 innings, compiling an ERA of 0.00 and posting a fine 2-0 mark. To date this year, Uribe shows a 9-2 record, 18 starts, 99 innings, 129 strikeouts and a 1.73 ERA. |
