Nugaev Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Saturday, September 1st, 2035 Tennessee's Artur Nugaev accomplished what few others have done -- he hit for the cycle, collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. For the day, Nugaev finished 4-for-5 with 6 runs batted in and 1 run scored and helped the Smokies knock off the Provo Mango 11-5 at Mango Yard. "I didn't even know I was about to hit for the cycle until after," Nugaev told reporters following the game. "One of the guys mentioned it when I got back to the dugout." Artur Nugaev doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run triple in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Vítor Paiva in the 9th.
