SA Player of the Week Selected Monday, June 25th, 2035 So far in his young career, John Ricks has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the USSL Single A in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old Athletic Club KC U-24 second baseman hit at a torrid .542 clip as he collected 13 hits in 24 at-bats, 1 home run, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Ricks has a .366 average and a .443 on-base percentage for the year. He has picked up 45 hits, 7 home runs and driven in 21 runs. |
