Eric Edwards Out for Season Monday, July 30th, 2035 A blow for Eric Edwards today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 14 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Edwards suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the Belleville Bulls are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Edwards's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Edwards has made 0 starts, tossed 16 innings, struck out 17 batters and walked 8. His record is 1-0 with a 2.25 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .250 batting average. |
