Season Over for Clint Caldwell in Alameda Thursday, July 26th, 2035 Clint Caldwell has to call it a season. The Alameda Airmen center fielder sustained a season-ending injury against the Columbia River Rats and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Caldwell was injured while making a defensive play. His doctors diagnosed it as a ruptured foot tendon and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. Caldwell is hitting .243 so far this season with 21 RBIs and 30 runs scored. He has 42 hits including 2 home runs, 17 walks and .325 OBP. |
