Gold Ball Goes to New Orleans Hurler Tuesday, October 30th, 2035 It was a dream season for Miguel Rubia of New Orleans Voodoo. He pitched his way to a 16-3 record and carted off the 2035 United States Premier League Gold Ball. Working 185 innings this year, Rubia made 25 starts, struck out 156 and crafted a 1.70 ERA. He gave up 124 hits and 36 walks and limited other teams to a .190 average. Kenji Aoki of the Philadelphia 1776 BC finished second in voting, while Andrew Moody of the Vancouver Grey Wolves finished third. |
